    Exclamation installation idea.

    hi there,
    i got this two hard disks SATA both sea-gate 250 and 160gn each
    i got windows installed in one 250gb now i want to install RHEL 5 .
    my query is can i install that in 160gb if yes then where will the grub will go.
    Also i faced lots of problems in the past regarding this installation problem.
    so i want to do the write them
    help me please on this.

    Nvidia graphic card 512mb
    2 gb ram
    250gb Sata segate HDD
    160gb sata segate hdd

    You should look to put grub on the primary boot disk. If windwos is already installed, all the major distros will recognise it and provide the relevant boot option to keep it working.

    Work through your install, if you encounter specific problems with it you know where we are if you need help.

    As said by Rox, obviously grub will be installed on primary bootable HDD.

    In some other forum, I have heard installation of fedora 11 is wiping out Windows, please read proper installation instructions from fedora on dual-boot option. Also google for Dual Boot Windows and fedora.

    Please revert back upon progress!
