    I suspect that VBox won't work with FC8 since it is an outdated distribution. FC9 and later should be ok. I use it with CentOS/RHEL 5.x and run Solaris x86, Windows XP, and various Linux distributions in VBox virtual machines.
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.

    I have installed Virtual Box in Mandriva 2009 It worked fine.
    Installation is also pretty easy.Follow the links
