    usbhid: proble failed with error -5 Help!

    Hello,

    I had a wacom tablet installed and working fine untill today.

    When I tail -f /var/log/messages and disconnecting usb and reconnecting I receive:

    usbhid: proble of 2-2:1.0 failed with error -5
    Input: wacin Ubtyis 3 6x8 on usb-0000:00:1d.0-2

    on xorg log there is:

    Error opening /dev/input/wacomproxy :success
    (eEE) xf86OpenSerial: Cannot open device /dev/input/wacomproxy
    No such file or directory


    please help!!
    I dont know what to do!

    Have you done any updates, installed new kernel, etc? Have you tried rebooting with the device plugged in? Without it plugged in? Reinstalling driver (if appropriate)?
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
