Virtual RedHat Communication Problem

Hi Frndz

I think it's not the correct place to ask this question (If So am sorry), Am using vmware Workstations at my workplace I managed to install RedHat EL - 4 in it and I succeed. I encountered with a problem

"WHEN REDHAT SHUTDOWN AND NEXT TIME WHEN IT BOOT'S UP IT'S CAN'T PING WITH THE EXTERNAL NETWORK BUT SOME TIME'S IT DOES, AM NOT ABLE TO UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEM"

Please any own help me out of this..

check out network conections.....is it in NAT or host only or BRIDGE ....
if it is in HOST only network conection then..it have private conection with only host...so u cant ping external network....
in vmware....by default dhcp used for ip....
check it out........hope itll help
