    Antivirus?

    When I started installing avast4workstation-1.3.0-1.i586.rpm on fedora 11 by using the command:

    rpm -Uvh avast4workstation-1.3.0-1.i586.rpm

    I encountered the message:
    "libexpat.so.0 is needed by avast4workstation-1.3.0-1.i586" and the installation got terminated. What to do????

    That means you need to install libexpat first. Are you sure you want to install antivirus? Are you running a mail/file server that will interact with Windows machines? Antivirus is not required for Linux, it is usually only run as a courtesy to Windows users.
