Lvreduce
Hi all,
In RHEL 4 i did a lvreduce process of /usr filesystem after doing this i gave
resize2fs /Vol name but it is throwing me an error of resize2fs 1.39 (29-May-2006)
Filesystem at /Logvol03 is mounted on /usr; on-line resizing required
On-line shrinking from 2572288 to 2048000 not supported.
Also i can't unmount the /usr.
Can anyone tell me the exact things to be done for this.
and also the alternate ways to reduce the existing lv...
Thanks in advance.
