    Smile grub

    i have installed windows and then made a partition and installed fc8....

    later due to viruses... i have recovered the windows xp...
    note: jus recovery not formatiing....i need to insert the recovery dvds in my compaq laptop to have the recovery done

    the recovery is done perferctly....

    but on next reboot i dont find the grub loading...
    and i have no way accssing linux...
    it goes direclty into windows....

    i think the grub is overwritten by the bootloader of windows...
    what to do now???

    You can use a live cd like Super Grub Disk to reinstall grub.

    Hi

    You can clear windows entry form mbr but make sure
    u must have grubloader on mbr
    just boot from windows xp CD and go in repair mode
    and type command
    fdisk /mbr
