    installing umbuntu retricted extras HELP!!!

    every time i try to install u retricted extras , It says it there is conflicting software and to solve the problem go to package manager ,, but i dont know what its conflicting with

    This is the Linux version of DLL-hell. You either have some outdated required components (libraries, etc) or the version of the package you are trying to install is outdated for required components that are already installed on your system. The package manager (apt-get/synaptic for Ubuntu, rpm/yum for fedora/redhat) should indicate which components are causing the problem with the installation.
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
