Pidgin - Failed to install package
I have logged in as root, and tried installing the latest version of Pidgin and Gyaachi. I am getting an error message (a dialog box) - "Failed to install package. You do not have neccessary privileges to perform this action".
As part of the installation, I guess it is also trying to download and install libpurple 2.5.8-1.fc9.i386.rpm .
Can any one help me?
