Have a look at:
http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/wir...tart-here.html
This should give you any needed info for the network card.
If it is working, you need to set up the wireless networking for the card in the network manager.
Look at:
Madwifi or Ndiswrapper Wireless Network Drivers - Suse/openSUSE 10, 11 - LAN & Internet access
I know it's for suse, but it will give you the general idea.

Please first post the information described in the Wireless Setup - Start Here thread, as whych already mentioned.
Don't start following old wireless setup guides before you actually know what it is you need to do.Paul

Thank you.
Downgrading to Fedora 8 is not advisable. It is no longer officially supported, and Fedora is no longer providing any updates for it.
Also, the driver (ath5k) for you wireless is using a much older release in Fedora 8. It is a rather new driver, and has gone through a lot of development. Using the newest version is almost always recommended.
As for Fedora 10 being unstable, that is not true. I use it every day and have no problems with it. Try using the newer version instead, Fedora 11.
Your wireless is completely supported in Linux, using the ath5k driver. You just need to click on the NetworkManager icon to select a network. It is found in the taskbar, next to the Date/Time.Paul

Thanks
Hi,
Thank you all, I upgraded my kernel to 2.6.26.8-57.fc8
It is working very okay. My issues with fedora 10 and 11 with flashplayer. It doesn't work and i have tutorials/nuggets that i need to read. if i get a way around it, i will willingly install fedora 11 that i already have in DVD. But that is a thread for another day.
Thank you all
