FC11 on a Live USB update issues

    Hi,
I made a Live USB using FC11 and once I installed the required updates and my whole thing was gone after update. I mean, I had nothing on the USB after an update.

Is there anything like we shouldn't update certain files while using Live USB?

There's nothing I'm aware of that will wipe the usb stick as an update. I wouldn't recommend using a live image usb stick as a main OS, though. If you're going to be using this long term, then you should consider installing to more stable medium.

    Hi buddy,

The live OS media's are for the testing purpose only. You need to maintain a permanent or rather more stable medium as Roxoff suggested. As the USB drives come with no guarantee to work as a sterdy media...please try to avoid using them for long term.

    Regards
    Prince
