Did you install any Desktop Environment ( Gnome/KDE ) during installation?
What is the output of this
    Code:
    ls /etc/X11
    ?

It means you haven't installed any Desktop Environment. Install Gnome, KDE or any other DE using default Package Manager. If you are new to Linux then I would suggest you to re-install. Don't forget to select Gnome or Kde or both in Package Selection stage during installation.

    Select "intel" or "i810".
