I've got two boot menus
Hi,
I'm a newb and just performed my first hd install of Linux. I'm triple booted (quadruple if you count Mint 4 Win) with Vista, 7, and Fedora 11 (omega remix), and I think I did something wrong.
My problem is that in order to log into either 7 or Vista, I have to through Fedora's boot menu, and choose the "other"option, which then brings me to Windows boot manager wher i can choose either 7 or Vista or Mint. I want to re-inistall Fedora (it's not accepting root password), but if I delete it, will Windows boot manager remain?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Hi and Welcome !
Its not possible to add entries of both Windows OSes ( Vista and 7 ) in Linux Boot Loader. You have to select other and then chose either Windows OS. You can add Mint entry in Fedora Boot Loader though.
Its really easy to reset root password. Boot up in Single User Mode and execute passwd command. It will not ask for existing password. Just set new root password.I want to re-install Fedora (it's not accepting root password),
If you delete Fedora Partition, none of OS will boot up. You have to remove GRUB manually. You can do that through SuperGRUB CD.but if I delete it, will Windows boot manager remain? It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
