Type about:plugins in the Firefox address bar to see what plugins you do have installed.
Gecko-media player is most likely in the Fedora repositories. Have you looked?
TryYour problem may be that Fedora doesn't support playing mp3's out of the box.Code:su - yum install gecko-mediaplayer

For Fedora 10, follow jayd512's link to the install guide and install the rpmfusion repository, then you have a choice of media player. You can use gecko if you like, or as an alternative, you could try vlc which has a mozilla plugin (i.e. it works with Firefox). vlc can play pretty much anything except Flash content. There are lots of other media players you might want to try too, I recall there being a xine plugin and an mplayer plugin.
The other player you'll need is Flash - go to the Adobe site and install their own repository (follow the Flash download links), you want the RPM repository for Fedora. You can then install the flash plugin through your package manager.Linux user #126863 - see http://linuxcounter.net/

Thanks for your contribution
Actually I tried to execute this command yum install gecko-mediaplayer
but I received this error while installing and using yum under root user so after pressing on the previous command it started to download the package but this error has come up
Actually I used this site a few days ago and I tried to install Amarok and also same errorCode:Transaction Check Error: file /usr/lib/libkscreensaver.so from install of kdebase-workspace-devel-4.3.1-1.fc10.i386 conflicts with file from package kdelibs3-devel-3.5.10-1.fc10.i386 Error Summary

Do you have more than one version of KDE installed?
It seems to me that you have KDE 3.5.10 and KDE 4.3.1. I'm thinking that something is going to break if you remove kdelibs3-devel-3.5.10-1 so you won't get that error. Did you upgrade from KDE 3.5.10?kdelibs3-devel-3.5.10-1
kdebase-workspace-devel-4.3.1-1I do not respond to private messages asking for Linux help, Please keep it on the forums only.
