Yum clients for a local repository server

    Hi,

I have configured a local repository server and I would like to know that how many yum clients can use that repo server?

How to check that how many of client Linux machines can use one repository server? Is there any limitation?

    Please provide some ideas.

    Thanks in Advance.

If it is a local repo for Fedora or CentOS I would highly doubt there is a limitation. I would check the documentation for your distro, I'm sure there is a section that details this.

    Hi Coopstah,

All my YUM clients are in LAN.

    RepoServer configuration:
    OS: RHEL 5.3
    Arch: x86_64 (64bit)
    Hardware: DELL Power 905
Processor: Quad-Code AMD Opetron Processor 8384
    RAM: 2GB
Network: All the machines are in LAN.

Can you please let me know on what parameters we can find the limits?

I believe this requires a license from Red Hat. I'm sure the license will specify the number of clients you are allowed.
