    hello everyone!
i have installed FC.11 twice but it doesn't seem to work for me.
it freezes unexpectedly regardless of what programs are running.

can someone suggest me to upgrade fc.10 to fc.11.
is there any way that my upgraded version will work?
    my system info:
    memory 485.3 MiB
    Processor 0 : Intel(R) Pentium(R) D CPU 2.80 GHz
    Processor 1 : Intel(R) Pentium(R) D CPU 2.80 GHz

    best regards.
    Sorry, it was unintentional.
You should have told me at least once and i could have fix it.

Are you using KDE or GNOME?
If you have enabled 3D-Desktop effects , try to disable that feature..then check it again...

    thanks.
    i am using Gnome.
    no desktop effect is enabled.
    even fresh install freezes.
is it advisable to upgrade my fc.10 to fc.11?

Usually this is a graphics issue, what is your graphics card?
    Code:
    lspci | grep -i vga
    grep -i driver /etc/X11/xorg.conf

my graphics card is : as returned by lspci | grep -i vga
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82865G Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 02)

    commond grep -i driver /etc/X11/xorg.conf doesn't return.

i think xorg.conf is not created automatically.

well as i said this is FC.10 because FC.11 doesn't worked and i removed it.
    should i upgrade?

There is a bug in the intel graphics driver in ubuntu 9.04, I wouldn't be surprised if fedora has this same problem since it was released at about the same time.

According to the F11 Common Bugs page, folks have reported X freezing with Intel graphics cards.

There are a couple of possible workarounds, disable kernel mode setting, changing the acceleration method to EXA or XAA, they're listed on the site.

I would frankly just wait for Fedora 12, since it's due out in mid-November.
