Brightness Control On Fedora 10 on a Lenovo G430
Hello Everybody,
It has been seven months since I got this machine and up to now I am still trying to find out how to make the brightness control work. It responds pretty well w/ my XP partition but not to any of my Linux partitions.
I was browsing this afternoon and I saw this article.
Lenovo 3000 G430 [Linux Laptop Wiki]
I was wondering if he was able to really making it work in his ubuntu, I want it to also work for my Fedora 10.
How can I make this particular set of commands work for my Fedora, if ever.
I would really appreciate any help from my gurus in this forum.Code:Brightness control works after executing “xrandr –output LVDS –set BACKLIGHT_CONTROL native” from terminal; you can also add it to your .profile
Thanks in advance! Cheers!
