    Installing red hat linux enterprise 5.0

    i am using the HCl laptop and the i have 2gb ram and 250Gb ... My Video Card is Intel Mobile Graphics accleator. \

    i am trying to install the RHEL 5.0 in graphical mode,,, i cant install .. error is VESA X Server fails to Load and automatically goes to text mode..

    Before one month i have installed all versions of Linux.. but this time only error.. please help me..

    i have tried installing all versions...

    That is because RHEL 5 is meant for desktops and servers, not laptops. It is also not the most recent version, as the latest is 5.4.

    If you want a Red Hat based version of Linux that should be better for a laptop, use Fedora 11

    Yeah,FC11 is a good choice to run a LINUX OS that redhat based version
    you can install Redhat Enterprise Linux Server on a desktop.
