    Cant find Preferences menu in the Settings menu

    Hi,
    Iam pretty new to Linux.I installed fedora 10 on my pc recently.I wanted to add a program to the startup menu but I cant find Preferences menu in the Settings menu. Iam writing to this form after a lot of googling.Hope I can find some answer here

    Are you using the Gnome or the KDE version?
    The Gnome version has 2 panels, 1 on the top and the other on the bottom.
    KDE has only at the bottom.

    If you click the Menus & toolbars doesn't it give you the option to edit the menu?? I don't use Fedora now,
    but Gnome based distros should have the option to edit the menu in System->Preferences.

    Thanks for the reply
    Iam using the KDE version
    Iam able to navigate upto
    Application->Settings but from there I cant navigate to the Preferences as the Preferences menu is non existant
