    Small Business Server

    Hi,
I am currently looking for a solution for a small business server that would do the following :
Email exchange (something similar to microsoft exchange)
    Spam filtering for email exchange
Monitoring users'activity (something like novell netware)
Incremental Backups (may get away with crontabs for that)
    roaming profiles for users

Would I be able to do this with fedora or red hat? We are currently running windows small business server 2003 and are having a lot of issues with compatibility with the servers we are using. The servers are IBM x335's.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

You can achieve that with pretty much any distribution. If this is a business server, I assume stability is an issue, so I would not recommend Fedora because its very bleeding edge. I personally would go for Red Hat Enterprise Linux. If you do not want to pay a subscribtion fee, then CentOS (a free RHEL rebuild) will do. Other options are Debian and Ubuntu Server.
