Unable to Boot in Fedora 11

The system is locking up when trying to mount CIFS shares on a NAS on my home network. I appear to have neglected specifying the password.

Compounding the problem is the fact that it will not start up in interactive mode. I press "I" until my finger hurts but to no avail. I have a wireless USB KB but I know that is working because I can 1) get to the txt boot screen and 2) see the "I" character show up on the screen before the very first line: "Welcome to Fedora" or something like that.

It gets to the point where it "enters non-interactive startup mode", everything goes well until the CIFS line:

    "Mounting CIFS: Password: "

and no keystrokes that I can think of do any good. Are there any suggestions here or do I need to just reinstall over everything with the DVD?

I could probably also use a little help figuring out how to do an encrypted passwords file. I am a complete linux newbie.

    Thanks,

The network has probably not started by the time that the system is trying to connect to the networked folder(s).
