    Need help with RHEL 4

    Hello everyone,
    I m very new in linux ...i have intalled Red Hat Enterprise 4 in my laptop.....but i dont know where should i get drivers for my laptop.

    My laptop is HP Compaq Presario V6000...& model number at back side of laptop is V6307TU.....

    i didnt get drivers for my laptop....& i dont know how to install drivers....so pls help me out & guide me where should i get drivers & how to install it....pls....thank you....waiting for reply....

    Hi and welcome to the forum.

    You don't usually need to install your own drivers on Linux distributions because they are included in the kernel or as kernel modules. Does RHEL work okay on the laptop?

    Like I said above, there is usually no need to install drivers. They are already there in the kernel and it loads the right ones for your hardware during boot up. If everything is working fine, then I don't see a problem.
