    terminal not opening after yum update in fedora11

    hi


    i recently installed fedora11 . i performed a yum update and after that the fire fox icons have gone all glossy and the gnome terminal is not showing up.......

    i click on the terminal icon the terminal window shows up with the starting terminal status and then it vanishes....


    what do u guys reckon....help me out...

    I assume Fedora has xterm installed by default as well. Hit ALT+F2, type xterm to open it.

    From xterm, type gnome-terminal. If it crashes, hopefully there will be a useful error message.
