    i am from mumbai(india) and i want some question for linux bcoz all my bussiness depends upon acounts and money transfer so in windows i think i am not safe bcoz there are so many virus and hacking tools i am operating linux i want help anybody from indai can help me give me the no i waill call u my name is Saif

    Which Linux distro are you using?

    Software installation is very easy in Linux. Just look for Package Manger in Menu. Most of Package Managers display list of installed and available packages. You have to select the package only. Package Manager will download and install packages for you.

    My mistake ! You are using RedHat. Right ! Which version of RedHat have you installed?

    bro i am using redhat server edition 5.3 and when i am downloading from net in windows the file call as exe but in this the file name is tar.bz or something like i had delted bcoz i cant understand thanks for ur reply i am reading ur post and trying plz u have more idea then plz provide dear
