    Yum "metadata does not match checksum"

    [joliver@ucore-web ~]$ sudo yum clean all

    [joliver@ucore-web ~]$ sudo yum update

    I also tried going in to RHN, deleting the profile for this host, and re-registering it.

    Oops.

    Checksum not matching indicates a bad download, possible hardware failure? Do you have another NIC you can try to use instead? Download the file on another machine, and compare checksum.

    Google: Error: failure: repodata/primary.xml.gz from rpmforge: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try

    RPMForge is not an official RedHat repo. It appears to be having issues. Disable that repo if you need to use yum.
