Question How do I stop auto date/time sync?

I need to temporarily change the date and time on one of our Redhat Linux servers. I've stopped ntpd from running, however when I change the date and time it reverts back to the current date/time within a few seconds.

I didn't find anything in cron so I'm assuming there's another process. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Terry

    Smile Problem solved!

The process responsible for resetting the time back to current was related to the CentryfyDC application running on the server. We had to create a new GPO on the Centrify console, disable sntp udpates and add the Linux server to the new group. Problem solved.

    Thanks,
