Backlight Control Questions for Laptop on Fedora 10

    Hello,

My keyboard control on my laptop does not function with regards to the backlight of the screen.

I recently found out that I can already adjust the backlight of my screen using the following:

    Code:
xrandr --output LVDS --set BACKLIGHT_CONTROL native
It helps me save on battery time and a lot friendlier for my eyes. The problem is that I have to execute this line every time I open my Fedora (and Mint).

Would it be possible to make this line run at boot so that I do not have to go to the terminal all the time at the start of my sessions?

If yes, can someone be so kind to share with me what can I do to make it possible.

    Thank you in advance!

    Ciao!

Pretty much all desktop environments and window managers have a way to run things when the session starts. That's probably the easiest way to go.

Add an application to GNOME’s Autostart
