Fedora 11 cant use firefox????
loaded fedora 11 from cd out of Bible book will not go to any site ofher than fedora home page .....
firewall is off
updated system loaded & installed 434 updates fine... network up eth0
selinux is off
whats going on here??????

Are you using proxy to connect to internet? If so, you probably need to manually set up proxy for firefox.

nop no proxy..open network dsl any box connects
3hours on chat to modzilla no help....his thought no resolving addresses ,dns prob, my server isnt running but i can go to Fedora sites fine....
i say security prob.... form search says ver 11 shipped with this problem on cd which is what i used to load it 24hours ago....

are you going to fedora sites, or are you browsing the HTML files that come with the CD (the address bar will say FILE://xyz/xyz not HTTP://fedoraproject.org.)
Also, can you post the output of
cat /etc/resolv.confNew to the internet, technical forums, or the hacker / open source community??
