usb problem
well i have a got a RHEL 5.3 problem. if i plug in my pen drive as normal user i don't see it in my machine, [it doesn't get mounted, though it's detcted] which means i have to mount it manually. nay idea how to rectify it?????

That happens to me sometimes as well on CentOS 5.x (same thing as RHEL 5.x). However, sometimes it does mount them just fine. I have found that whether or not it mounts has something to do with which USB port/controller I am using. Don't know the details why that may be however.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
