cant view html files in firefox

I'm using fedora 12 and playing a game that has the option of viewing whatever current page I'm on by opening it in an external browser. I've done this a hundred times before when I was using windows and it opened fine and I could save that page to a folder. Now however, when I click the button to open in external browser it doesn't do anything, not even an error message. FF is the only browser I have so I know its the default for viewing html files. Is there a possibility that i'm saving each of the pages in another directory and cant find it? Or is this some issue with my ff configuration. Thanks for any help.

Is the game a native Linux application, or are you running it with Wine?
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
