    vlc onto an acer one....new issue?

    Hi,

    just getting a little to grips with installing software and changing settings on my acer one linux netbook. Have hit a brick wall trying to install vlc. getting this error in terminal

    fedora 100% |=========================| 2.1 kB 00:00

    but when trying to doanload...........

    i get this...........

    Error performing checksum
    Trying other mirror.



    cant understand it. Any ideas would be appreciated

    It's possible that either the file you are trying to download has become corrupted on the mirror site, or that it is being corrupted in transit, or the .rpm file has the wrong checksum associated with it. In any case, there isn't too much you can do about it. My guess is that the maintainers will fix this shortly. Try again in a couple of days.
