    fedora 12 freezes at boot

    Hi
Today, I have downloaded the Fedora 12 iso. When I try to boot fedora 12 CD to install it, I get the following error:
[drm] nouveau 0000:01:00.0 GPU lockup - switching to software fbcon
    no root device
    boot has failed, sleeping forever
"lspci | grep VGA" show the following video card:
00:10.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation GeForce 7050/nForce 610i (rev a2)
Can anyone help me about installing and running fedora 12 without this problem?
    Thanks

Try using the text installer. At the boot prompt enter, linux text
    6.3.2.*Additional Boot Options

You might also try using passing nomodeset vesa to the bootloader. I don't use Fedora, so I'm not sure the exact sequence to edit the boot line, but usually you hit ESC when it first begins to boot (there is a likely a brief countdown) and then 'e' to edit the bootline. Add "nomodeset vesa" to the end of the kernel line, and usually 'b' to boot.
