Disable automatic updates/balloon tips with TERMINAL
Hey everyone,
I'm writing a small piece of software, and I need to disable automatic updates and any balloon tips that might somehow occur via terminal and without the GUI. (I need to do all this with a script) Obviously the larger piece of the software takes up the entire window and we don't want it interrupted by any balloon tips or anything similar.
Does anyone know the command(s) that I would use? I can't seem to find anything that's not GUI related when it comes to Google and searching the forum..
Thanks!

Please be more specific as to what you mean regarding "balloon tips".

Balloon tips as in the balloons that pop up with notifications, updates, tips for optimizing your computer, etc, etc. Anything that would disrupt a full screen application or anything that would pop up and distract the user when the full screen application is running.
If that's not specific enough, for the sake of my project, pretend a movie is running full screen. We don't want the user to see anything other than the movie, therefore, we want to disable any automatic updates that might pop up automatically to disrupt or distract the user from the "movie". Also, balloon tips mostly pop up automatically and would be viewable during the "movie".
