about getopt::std

hi is there anyone who can help me with the commands

my getopt::std command is not working it didnt let the programe to be execute

what should i need to install or do it for to run this command and execute the programe

i just install centos 5.4 on sun virtual box

and another problem m not able to copy paste anythng from notepad and outside to nano or to text mode which is supposed to paste as with the right mouse key

Looks like a bad set-up of your virtual machine to me...
Provided that your program (script?) runs well on non virtual environment, that is.
My experience tells me that there should be a hidden extension or add-on or plug-in for your virtual machine regarding input device methods. Maybe a security setting?
