Fedora 10 installation problem in Vaio VPCCW15FG

Hi...
i'm new to this forum... recently i've faced some problems given below:

1. While installing Fedora 10 in my Vaio laptop...GUI cud n't start but installing d same in text mode.
2. Since thr is a graphics card of Nvidia G210... i install that driver from Nvidia site.
3. Now when Fedora 10 is booting then only the white/Blue bar (GUI loading) is showing...and after that same text mode logging window appear.
4. i also done some modifications in xorg.cong file consulting the posting u guys provided in this forum... but nothing has changed..... whenever i use startx command the screen goes blank...

Now if anyone can help me out from this situation....i'll b grateful..

As of December 17th, Fedora 10 has reached end of life. I recommend installing Fedora 12. It may be that your trouble is resolved in the latest release.

recently i installed Fedora 12 in my laptop using basic graphics driver option... since then pre installed windows 7 could not start normally .... but fedora 12 is working fine.... plz help.
