    [SOLVED] fedora 12, mediwiki

    hi all,

i am trying to set up mediawiki on my machine (for personal use), im not setting it up on a web server, just directly on my machine, but anyway, i have apache-2.2.14, php-5.3.1 and mediawiki-1.15.1, i have all three installed, and when i got to localhost in my web browser, i get "It Works", i have not changed the httpd.conf yet, because i do not know what to chang it to, i have installed mediawiki with "yum install mediawiki" and the .tar.gz file i downloaded from mediawiki.org, is unzipped in /var/www/wiki...

    any help?
    Thanks

    Micah

update: after a restart to my system, i get "index of /" when i type localhost into my browser

I've never used it, but I think mediawiki requires mysql. Did you install mysql as well?
