Hi all,

Looking for just the basic steps to get syslog-ng installed and configured properly. I can run the rpm and install it. After that....

stop syslogd?
configure syslog-ng.conf? (which I have prepped)
etc etc.

All this server is going to do is collect syslogs from random syslog generating devices.
