cannot connect to the computer through ssh after new year's

We have a network in our lab consisting of an authentication server and a number of other machines.

After new years we cannot ssh to the machines of our network. We can ssh as roots and with any local accounts that are on each machine, but not with our network userids. I assume that the change of the year has to do with the problem, otherwise it would be a weird coincidence.

There is only one computer that is used as a host of the website of our lab that has a different setup and it is the only one we can ssh to. The problems is that I haven't set up the network and I don't really know where to begin looking for the problem from.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

can you login to the machine using a network uid without ssh?

    Are you using AD?

    Have you tried rebooting?

check logs too -- are there any cron complaints? I've seen cron complaints when the year changes, esp since it's going from a year (xxx9) to (10) it may require a reboot to sync back up proplery.
