    Question Linux Networking through VMware

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have installed Redhat Enterprise 5.x as guest OS on Windows 2008 Srv OS as host.

I am using VMware server 2 for visualization, my hardware is x86 3GB HP box - Centrino Duo (2 cores). I connect to internet using my USB dialup modem from host OS which is Windows 2K8 Srv.

    Question)
    ------------
I am trying to access internet from my Guest OS (RED hat) but not able to get through. Can anybody pls. suggest any tips that i may be missing.

I am able to ping my host OS (Win2k8 Srv) from guest OS (Red Hat) and I am using NAT for connection through VM ware. I cannot bridge network connection as VM ware won't allow me to do that since my connection is Dialup USB.

I also tried connecting using Bridged & host only connection, but that actually did not allow me to even ping to my host OS from my guest OS.

Also both my host OS and guest OS on same network range so there is no problem with that.

My host IP address is 192.168.96.1 - Windows 2K8 Srv
My Guest IP address is 192.168.96.20 - Red Hat

This is my home machine, i am new to Linux.
