Problem installing "modutils" (urgent)

Good Day to All.

Im here to request for help.

Im currently using Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.3 and have "module.init.tools" package installed.

I need to install the "modutils" package before I can install a driver of an I/O module fitted in my PCI-Express Slot in my server. However, while installing the "modutils" rpm package, there was an error. The details of the error is as shown:-

file /sbin/depmod from install of modutils-2.1.85-9.i386 conflicts with file from package module-init-tools-3-0.pre3.1.42.el5.i386
file /sbin/insmod from install of modutils-2.1.85-9.i386 conflicts with file from package module-init-tools-3-0.pre3.1.42.el5.i386
file /sbin/insmod.static from install of modutils-2.1.85-9.i386 conflicts with file from package module-init-tools-3-0.pre3.1.42.el5.i386
file /sbin/lsmod from install of modutils-2.1.85-9.i386 conflicts with file from package module-init-tools-3-0.pre3.1.42.el5.i386
file /sbin/modinfo from install of modutils-2.1.85-9.i386 conflicts with file from package module-init-tools-3-0.pre3.1.42.el5.i386
file /sbin/modprobe from install of modutils-2.1.85-9.i386 conflicts with file from package module-init-tools-3-0.pre3.1.42.el5.i386
file /sbin/rmmod from install of modutils-2.1.85-9.i386 conflicts with file from package module-init-tools-3-0.pre3.1.42.el5.i386

Can anyone advice me what to do? Thanks.

Regards,
Tan SJ

Is module-init-tools something that can be removed? If so, remove it, then install modutils. Looks like both may provide several of the same programs.
