    finch failing on fedora6

    Hi All,
    I am trying to run finch on fedora6. Finch is exiting immediately on starting and i am not able to add any account using it.
    please help me with the correct procedure to use finch.

    Are you getting an error message when launching? Could you post the error here?

    I am not seeing any error messages. the window is shown and it quits.

    i tried running on gnome-terminal, xterm and rxvt.

    This is showing up, when run in debug mode.
    Any help with this.

    pidgin: symbol lookup error: pidgin: undefined symbol: gst_registry_fork_set_enabled

    Well I am not finding a whole lot of info here, but these are the required files/programs for installing Finch, please make sure you have them all installed already. These are for debian, the names may be different for Fedora.
    build-essential linux-headers-2.6 libxml2-dev intltool libglib2.0-dev gettext libncurses5-dev libgnutls-dev
