Fedora 12 in vbox wont boot

Ok, so i just got fedora 12 all set up in Virtual Box and got the guest additions and stuff so i can have max screen res. I went to set up compiz following this site (google Using Compiz on Fedora 12 as Linux Guest in VirtualBox) installed dkms, rebooted and now after it loads the bar at the bottom that says fedora 12, it gives a blank black screen with a solid white line at the top like a c prompt curser. Whats the deal here? did dkms break my install or something? Its on a vm so no big loss but id still like to know.

Graphics Driver has not been configured correctly and you have to fix it through command line mode.
Which Graphics Card do you have?
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

Did you install Nvidia Proprietary Driver? Default Nvidia driver 'nouveau' doesn't work properly in a few machines.
    Check this link.

Boot up in Single User Mode and rename xorg.conf file.
    Code:
    cd /etc/X11
    su -c mv xorg.conf xorg.conf.bak
    Reboot.

That is the only way. Other method is, boot up from LiveCD, mount / partition and edit files, if possible.

Could explain a bit more? May be we could help in this.

Well first off, im unsure what exactly the grub splash screen looks like. It says to push any key at the grub splash screen to bring up the interactive menu right. Well i push space bar repeatedly throughout the whole boot sequence and it boots like normal and then gives me that blank screen with the courser as said before.

I did tho figure out that if i push any of the "F' keys(F1 F2 F3 etc.) it will bring me to a screen that starts loading all kinds of stuff really fast, to fast for me to read, on the right side of the screen after each thing loads, it displays an [OK] message with the ok being in green text. Anyway, before it loads this stuff it displays a message that says something along the lines of "press "I" to enter the interactive menu" and pressing I does nothing. It just starts the loading like described before and then goes to that blank screen with the cursor once again.

    That is what im seeing.
