LOADING Problem In fedora core 8
I have Compaq presario 700 notebook i have installed windows xp and Fedora core8
when loading the fedora the following error occur
Bringing up interface wlan0:SIOCSIFFLAGS: operation not supported
./ifup-wireless:line 60:1768 Segmentation fault
iwconfig $DEVICE channel $CHANNEL
WHAT IS THE REASON AND SOLUTION PLEASE ANY ONE FIND THE SOLUTION TELL ME

Unfortunately, the Fedora 8 release is no longer supported by the folks at Fedora.
The first step I'd recommend is installing a later version of Fedora such as version 11 or 12, both of which are still supported. Should you have problems with a supported release, post back with the details.oz
