Sound in qemu virtual machine
I am running Fedora 12 (64-bit), and have Windows 7 (64-bit) installed on a qemu virtual machine.
I can connect to the Internet. One thing that I cannot do is use sound.
Windows Device Manager shows an exclamation mark for audio device.
MoBo is Asus M3A78-EM
I believe that the on-board sound is from Realtek.
Vista drivers available on CD-ROM are supposed to work with Windows 7
when run in native mode, but Windows 7 won't accept them.
I tried adding the available sound devices in the qemu information window.
None of the four available options works.
I have seen suggestions involving recompiling qemu with various options.
Thanks in advance for any simpler suggestions.
Tom
