me using redhat linux.i want to to remotely access a system that have windows OS.I tried to install the utility rdesktop using following command.
"yum install rdesktop"

me using redhat linux.i want to to remotely access a system that have windows OS.I tried to install the utility rdesktop using following command.
"yum install rdesktop"
the following error occur
"Loading "security" plugin
Loading "rhnplugin" plugin
This system is not registered with RHN.
RHN support will be disabled.
Setting up Install Process
Parsing package install arguments
No package rdesktop available.
Nothing to do"
plz give me solution.

Do you want to access remote windows partition and it's file? If so then try Samba.

I think OP wants to control remote windows desktop, thus the need for rdesktop.
The error means you are using an unregistered version of RHEL. Why are you doing this? You cannot install any software through yum update mechanism. You should install CentOS instead.
