    Installing driver(s) in Linux?

Hi, I'm here needing help with a problem I've come across.
I have a GemBird AP-5.1 Headset I'd like to install, but is there a way to do this?
I'm currently using Fedora 12, and it's a USB headset. I'm just confused on how to make it work. If you need anymore information, please ask.

    Thanks in advance, Liam.

    Welcome to the forums, Liam!

Most drivers for Linux are already included within the kernel itself. For those cases where they aren't, you can install any needed drivers (if they exist) either from your distribution repositories, or from source. Here is a HowTo explaining how to install from source:

Maybe someone that experience with the headset that you refer to will respond with more information for you.

you shouldn't need a driver, you should be able to plug it in and use it, did you configure the audio to go to the headset?

    run these codes
    Code:
    /sbin/lsusb
    aplay -L
    and post them back here
