    Where is nbd-client

    Hi folks,

    Fedora 12 64bit

    I need nbd-client which is supposed contained in kbd package.

    $ yum list kbd
    Code:
    Loaded plugins: presto, refresh-packagekit
    Installed Packages
    kbd.x86_64               1.15-9.fc12               @fedora

    kbd already installed.

    But I can't find kbd-client;

    $ which kbd-client
    Code:
    /usr/bin/which: no kbd-client in (/usr/lib64/qt-3.3/bin:/usr/kerberos/sbin:/usr/kerberos/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/home/satimis/bin)

    # which kbd-client
    Code:
    /usr/bin/which: no kbd-client in (/usr/lib64/qt-3.3/bin:/usr/kerberos/sbin:/usr/kerberos/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/root/bin)

    Please help. TIA

    Well, you say you need nbd-client, yet you are searching for kbd-client. Which is it?
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.

    Oh sorry, my mistake.

    On Fedora 12 I first tried
    $ which nbd-client

    without result.

    Then I wonder whether it will be kbd-client because it has something to do with KVM. Actually both were without result.

    $ yum list nbd-client
    also didn't find it

    However I found it on Debian 5.0

    $ apt-cache search nbd-client
    Code:
    nbd-client - the Network Block Device client
    gnbd-client - Red Hat cluster suite - global network block device client tools
