[SOLVED] Preventing kernel updates
I'm using the Fedora Eee kernel for Fedora 12 (it's an unofficial kernel for the Eee PC), and want to update my system (I just set it up today). How can I update via command line and prevent an update to the default kernel?

If you are using YUM for updates, check the /etc/yum.conf file. I've not used YUM in a number of years, but you used to be able to exclude kernel updates there with the "exclude kernel" option. Check man yum.conf for more details.
