Hi All, I had sound yesterday, broke my repos somehow (think I added a rawhide repo), reinstalled, no sound now....at all, amarok, vlc, flash, etc...extremely frustrated, sound should work out ...

    [SOLVED] No Sound...AGAIN

    Hi All,

    I had sound yesterday, broke my repos somehow (think I added a rawhide repo), reinstalled, no sound now....at all, amarok, vlc, flash, etc...extremely frustrated, sound should work out of the box....period.


    Any ideas, suggestions, etc..?
    Bodhi 1.3 & Bodhi 1.4 using E17
    Dell Studio 17, Intel Graphics card, 4 gigs of RAM, E17

    okay that's just IDIOTIC, I'm sorry but my mixer on the bottom is fully up, but if I go into the pulse audio sound (multimedia -> volume control) it's by DEFAULT MUTED....luckily I stumbled across another forum which had about 30 people who had the same problem and basically all said "why would it be muted by default" & "why would they have TWO volume controls that aren't linked", so, all is good now
