    RPMs

    Hi all,

There are some files which were installed by a RPM gone missing. rpm --verify shows the files as missing. When i try to run rpm -Uvh it does nothing except for saying the package is installed. rpm -F does not do anything but returns to the prompt. Kindly advice me on how to get the deleted files back.

    Many thanks.

Which package are you trying to re-install? Post the output of verify command here.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
